New Feature

I am excited (and I little shocked that I never thought of doing this before) to start a new thing on this blog.  I will from time to time post articles that I feel will be helpful to you.  Most of these articles will be an online resource, therefore giving you easy access to good information!  Happy Thursday!

Now accepting credit cards in the office!!

I am please to announce that I am now accepting credit card payments in the office.  The best part is the name of the card reader company, a company called Square, will be the name that shows on your statement.  YAY for confidentiality!

Your private information may be public on the internet

I really want to let people know about this issue. A new site called www.spokeo.com has a listing that includes your home address, income level, and a bunch of other information that you may or may not want others to know.

If you or a family member needs your home address or personal information kept secure due to privacy, domestic violence danger, or just because you would like to keep information private, visit this website and remove yourself today!

Remove yourself by searching your name, click on your link, copy the URL that comes up on your page, then go to the bottom right corner of the page and click on the Privacy button to remove yourself.

Exciting new payment options

As of today, you may now pay for sessions with your credit card or debit card through Paypal.  Paypal is a safe, secure way to pay for goods and services throughout the entire world.  I have been using Paypal for several years and have not had any issues, especially not with security or information compromising.  One note to make based on previous experiences is to be aware of phising scams.  No this is not a new form of leisure activity, it is what crooks do to get your account information and steal money.  DO NOT ever click on ANY link in an email that asks you to verify account numbers or provide account information.  Always go to the correct website and login.  I learned this lesson the hard way about 5 years ago.  However, I'm very excited to give clients another payment option.  I am always looking for ways to make things easier and less stressful for clients and am really hoping this helps some!

Email issues

Currently I am having trouble receiving email from this site.  If you have emailed me and not gotten a timely response, please call me at (209) 602-9443 or you may visit my profile on www.psychologytoday.com and email me from there!  I will never claim to be a computer expert :), but we are working in the issue and hope to have it resolved very soon!
